If you’ve ever had to valet park your Mustang, then no doubt you’ve had the scenario from this video play out in your mind. After he gets out of sight, the Valet proceeds to mercilessly flog your Mustang through the parking lot. That’s the scenario played out in this latest short film from ROUSH Performance, titled The Valet.
In this film a seemingly normal guy turns his keys over to the Valet at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles. That car is a ROUSH RS3, Phase 3, packing a whopping 675 hp under the hood. The valet is no normal slacker working for tips, in this case it’s none other than Formula Drift champ Justin Pawlak (JTP).
JTP hits the loud pedal and precisely slides the powerful ROUSH through the garage, navigating around concrete posts, and getting sideways as he proceeds up the ramps for each level. It all culminates in a few smokey 360s, and JTP parking the ROUSH next to his Falken sponsored Formula D ride. JTP gets out, dumps the valet jacket and clip on tie as he walks away.
Of course this is all done to get your attention, which we’re sure we have now. While JTP’s precision driving is awesome, and you can’t beat the sound of a blown Coyote howling under the mercy of his right foot, there’s something better waiting at the end of the video. ROUSH is giving away this very car, the actual one from the video. The contest is just launching and will run until later this year when one winner will be selected. To enter just check out the contest entry site. You never know, late this year you could be cruising in that cool green over silver Phase 3. The only thing we’re wondering is if we win will JTP give us a few driving lessons, and maybe help score some tires after we’ve burned the hides down? Or maybe at least sign the dash?
