It is sort of a running joke in the Mustang community that, given how many special edition pony cars are out there, pretty much every Mustang is special in one way or another. Indeed, the Fox-body Mustang has a ridiculous number of special edition models attached to it, and in a few more years Fox-body Mustangs are sure to attain respectable collector car status.
When that happens, cars like this low-mileage, triple-white “Feature Edition” 1993 Mustang GT on Hemmings Auto Blog will sell for big, big bucks. But right here, right now, the $14,000 asking price seems a little high if you ask us.
But what a car you get for $14,000. If you’re looking for a mint condition Fox-body Mustang absolutely loaded with options and features, look no further. The Feature Edition isn’t as well known as the Mustang SVO or Cobra, but it is pretty cool in its own right. For one thing, it was only available as a convertible, and unlike any other Mustangon the market, the whole car was painted the body color.
This includes the bumpers, body moldings, and leather seats, something you just won’t find on your standard Mustang LX. A rear spoiler was added, while the luggage rack was deleted, and this particular Feature Edition wears 16-inch rims and has “Pony” embroidered on the driver’s side head rest.
Save for the tires, everything on this 19,000 mile Mustang is original, and it looks positively flawless. This Feature Edition is sure to make some car collector happy, though the asking price is probably just a bit too high, at least for the current market. Then again, the price is only high if no one pays it, and Fox-body Mustangs are definitely climbing in value these days.
