Nestled just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico along the banks of the Caloosahatchee river, Visitors to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida, can enjoy 20 pristine acres of historic buildings, gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab, and the Edison Ford Museum — plus a a pair of car shows.
The campus features newly restored buildings, including the Edison Main House, Guest House, and Caretaker’s House and the Ford House. The 1929 historic landscape is throughout the property including the award-winning Moonlight Garden, which makes these shows an absolute must for flower lovers everywhere.
What makes the hearts of Ford enthusiasts bloom is that portion of the proceeds from the Edison Ford Antique Car Show, held on February 3, 2018, will benefit the restoration of the antique car collection of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Admission to the show is $25 per person, which includes a self-guided tour of the Edison and Ford estates, museum, and lab.
Edison Ford is also hosting its Edison Ford Annual Ford Exhibit on March 3, 2018. This event includes Mustangs, music, and more. Like the antique car show, a portion of the proceeds from the Mustang exhibition will benefit the restoration of the Edison Ford antique car collection.
Admission to the Mustang show is free for Edison Ford Members an $25 (includes admission to Edison and Ford estates, museum, and lab) for non-members.
