It is official, we now know the date that many of our questions will be answered. On December 5, 2013 Ford will officially unveil the new Mustang worldwide, holding events in six locations on four continents, this is the start of the global Mustang. No more renderings, sketches, spy photos, or guesses, we will see the new car for the first time with our own eyes, and bring the biggest automotive event of the year to you right here at StangTV.

To build up the event even more, Ford has launched the Mustang Inspires campaign, along with a MustangInspires.com web-site. They will be releasing a new short video put together by what Ford terms as top artists each day leading up to the reveal, and of course Ford is making use of social media as well to build an audience of viewers both young and old.

The reveal will take place at 12:01am and should set the internet and car world abuzz for weeks following it. No doubt Ford is showing the car well ahead of the predicted on sale date in April of 2014.

No word yet on if we’ll get full information on the S550 Mustang or if we’ll simply be teased with a pre-production model and limited details on the technical specs. As much as we want the next Mustang to look good, as enthusiasts we want it to perform even better, so we’re hoping the car brings plenty to the table, and that Ford lays all their cards out for us on the big night.
