As one of the trendsetters in Mustang modifications, specializing in SVT Cobras and GT500s over the last decade, Jared Rosen and the team at Lethal Performance have a pretty good handle on what it takes to make a Mustang perform on the street and at the track. In fact, just last year they built one of the baddest GT500 machines to ever be conceived and christened it Snow White.
Just a short time after its completion, they hauled the car out to the NMRA’s final race and competed in the 5.0 Mustang Magazine King of the Street event. KOS pits some of the highest-horsepower, well-rounded Mustangs in the world against one another in a torture test – and Snow White came out on top.
Why is this significant, you ask? Because Snow White is for sale at this very minute on ebay, and you can own it for the tidy sum of $85,000, or if you’re top bidder above the reserve. Now, you might think that $85,000 is a big number, even for a Shelby GT500 of this vintage, but that price isn’t even scratching the surface when you find out what’s included in the asking price.
It sports a whopping 1,781 miles on the clock, yet has been enhanced by some of the sickest street-going equipment money can buy. The engine has been built using Diamond pistons, Manley I-Beam connecting rods and ARP fasteners by none other than Tim Eichhorn of MPR Racing Engines in Florida. The stock head castings were worked to the max by Modular induction specialist Kris Starnes using top-shelf Manley and Ferrea products to go with the custom Bullet camshafts.
The star of the show under Snow White’s hood, however, is clearly the Whipple Superchargers monster 4.5L supercharger, capable of rolling the dyno to over 1,200 horsepower at the wheels.
The car runs on E85 and has been tuned by none other than Ken Bjonnes of Lund Racing, and all of the work was done by Jake Long and the team at Power By The Hour Performance in Florida.
There’s a much longer list of mods on the ebay link, so go check it out – and place a bid if the space between your couch cushions is deep enough.
This is a chance to own one of the most impressive street-going Mustangs of all time. Do you have it in you?
