For over 50 years, Banks Engineering has developed high-performance gas and diesel engine upgrades. This month, Banks Power brought out an impressive array of aftermarket performance products for not only the diesel enthusiasts but also Ford EcoBoost fans, as well.
The company announced it is unleashing a full array of aftermarket performance products for the 2.3-liter, 2.7-liter, and 3.5-liter EcoBoost powerplants. We had the chance to catch up with Jon Apogée, Director of Corporate Communications for Banks Power, to ask him about a couple of the newly released gas turbo direct injection products.
Banks 2.3 EcoBoost Upgrades
The show pony for this full line of upgrades is a Race Red 2017 Mustang nicknamed the Sidewinder. This display vehicle included a complete lineup of upcoming products from Banks including:
• Sidewinder turbo upgrade
• Derringer tuner
• iDash 1.8 Super Gauge
• Ram Air cold air intake
• Monster exhaust
• Pressure/Temperature module
• Ambient Air Density module
The Banks iDash Super Gauge for the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine monitors and displays multiple vehicle parameters: speed, rpm, engine temps, etc. in analog or digital presentations. The system logs performance and economy results and you are able to set audible alarms and check and clear your vehicles’ diagnostic codes at the touch of a screen.
Although final pricing and numbers for the 2.3-liter products have not yet been announced, we expect to see an entire lineup of EcoBoost performance Products to drop in early 2018. For more information on the entire of Banks Power products, click here.
