Taking a page out of Ken Block’s book, 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. has lent his skills to a mini-movie called “Fire Drift”, which will pit the pro-drifter against “some of the most insane face melting, tire burning, earth exploding obstacles.” Their words, not ours.

After the lead driver, Fredric Aasbo, misjudged his entry angle at the Formula Drift event at Road Atlanta, Vaughn Gittin Jr. was left with two options; drive off the course, or over his competitor. Which option do you think he chose?

Clawing his way onto the podium this weekend was 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. rocking the RTR Drift team Mustang, taking second place behind Daijiro Yoshihara. But what of Gittin’s teammate, Justin Pawlak, who won the Streets of Long Beach for the past two years?

The St. Louis Car Show might not be the biggest show on the circuit, but it was big enough for Vaughn Gittin Jr. to show up and put on quite the smoke show for his adoring fans.
