United Pacific Industries (UPI) is well known for their ’32 Ford five-window coupe steel bodies, and now they will be revered for their new ’32 Ford truck. This latest product is endorsed and licensed by Ford Motor Company, because it is built just like the original. These bodies are precise with over 90 steel dies to stamp each panel, and over three-years of reverse-engineering development for repeatability. Unlike the original, UPI uses a thicker 18 gauge steel for strength, but all the parts can be used to fix an original truck.

UPI considers the 1932 truck part of the natural progression of their product line. The original ’32 Ford truck was a workhorse that many American’s depended on. United Pacific wanted to honor that tradition, and their licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company, by building their restoration body with quality that was equal or greater than the original, many of which have lasted 85-years.

As a bonus, the 1932 through 1934 Ford trucks share the same design, as far as the structure and panels, with the same doors, same cowl, and same inner structure, so replacement parts can be purchased from United Pacific to restore the original vehicles back to original condition.

We saw the show example of the 1932 Ford truck body on an original ’32 Ford Chassis with a 21 stud flathead Ford engine with high compression Evans heads topped with a Thickstun PM-7 dual intake and Stromberg 97 carbs.
