This past November, Ken Block came storming out of the gates with the latest and greatest entry into the Gymkhana line of videos. Gymkhana 6 was everything we hoped for and more, including many of the same crazy tricks and characters, along with some new stunts that really made us go “Wow!”
It’s been almost three full months since Gymkhana 6 hit the Internet, and it’s about time for a different perspective on Block’s stunt driving skills. GoPro cameras put out this new take on Gymkhana 6, including many never-before-seen angles.
The key to this video is that each of the cameras used to make it were almost all either attached to Block’s Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle, or Block himself. This includes angles focused on the handbrake, the pedals, steering wheel, and even the throttle under the hood. There are also a few outtakes, such as when a few cameras get knocked off of the rally racing Fiesta mid-course.
There were also a few other interesting angles incorporated into the video, including a look from the spiked wrecking ball’s point of view, as well as more aerial footage via drone. Our favorite perspective remains the nose camera however, as it shows the Gymkhana course for what it is, and just how talented a driver Ken Block is.
