Thanks to modern technology, keeping a digital record of the life of our cars is easier than ever. We grow with our cars, or so we hope, upgrading from mild to wild, from weekend warrior to serious contender on the drag strip. Most of us keep these stories to ourselves, but others feel the need to share their story with the world.

Such is the case with Kevin, a 2003 SVT Cobra Mustang owner from New Hampshire. He is the guy behind the video above, which documents the entire history of his Sonic Blue Cobra from the day it arrived on the back of a car hauler, mostly stock, to a 650 wheel-horsepower track monster.

The 2003-2004 SVT Cobras, affectionately known as “Terminators”, were fearsome vehicles right from the factory with a factory rating of 390 horsepower. It only took a few modifications though to crank power up to 500 ponies, and many owners did just that. So when Kevin got his first baseline dyno, the Cobra had already been upgrade to the area of 450 horsepower.

Eventually Kevin upgrades his Cobra with a Whipple supercharger, and that is when the real fun begins. With plenty of supporting mods, Kevin’s Cobra made over 650 horsepower and almost 600 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. That is close to the factory power rating on the new 2013 Shelby GT500. No wonder there are so many videos of him burning rubber and having fun in his super Cobra.

It is pretty cool seeing the life of this car under one man’s ownership laid bare for the world to see. Sure, it takes 12-minutes to get there (and there is even a 25-minute version of this video if you’re so inclined to watch it), but if you were to play back a history of your current ride, how long would it take to tell the tale?
