One thing that we are all familiar with in the automotive world is customer service. Sometimes it’s great, other times it’s the photo-negative of great. When it’s great, though, sometimes that word doesn’t spread as quickly as it does when the service is not so great. We tend to warn each other when our problems don’t get solved, a sort of unwritten code for gearheads.

Don Boucher (pictured) was on hand all weekend with Dillon Anglin to help customers and show the latest products.
Here’s another unwritten code that should also be shared amongst gearheads: Customer service is paramount to the guys behind the lines at Flowmaster Mufflers, B&M Racing, and Hurst Shifters. We stopped by their display at the Goodguys Del Mar Nationals this past weekend, and we were talking to them about how well they handle customer issues.
Dillon Anglin was on hand to talk to us and he said, “Customer service is extremely important to us, we take care of the customer, it’s that simple. If we have to get your address and send you a part, we’d rather do that to retain you as a customer.”
This philosophy is true for the entire company, and making sure that the customer is satisfied and gets the answers that they need to resolve any issues they might have. Anglin says he loves working for the company and dealing with customers because he knows how important it is to keep them coming back.
He referred to a video for testing the eight most popular Flowmaster mufflers as a great tool to help the customer decide on a muffler for their musclecar or hot rod. He said, “Just looking at mufflers doesn’t help you decide on which is best, but being able to compare the various mufflers by hearing them and seeing the readings can help make the choice on the right muffler, something a shop won’t do for you.”
With performance components from shifting to cooling, transmissions to torque converters, and their new stainless steel headers to that classic Flowmaster sound, the people behind the lines at Flowmaster, B&M and Hurst know just how important the customer is, and it’s that mentality that has made them one of the biggest names in performance automotive parts for decades.
Be sure to check out the Flowmaster Mufflers, B&M Racing, Hurst Shifters, and Hurst Drivelines web sites to see what they can offer for your favorite musclecar. And after dealing with these companies you’ll have the peace of mind in knowing that your satisfaction is the most important thing to their support team.
