What began as a set of custom headers built for the family race car by company founder, Papa Kook, has become a major aftermarket exhaust manufacturer. Building upon that legacy, Kooks Headers & Exhaust recently expanded its capabilities even further in the third building it opening in Mooresville, North Carolina, last fall.
“We can make headers and exhaust as custom as your build,” said Chris Clark, VP of Sales and Marketing at Kooks. “We know every street and race car is different, and that’s what we all love about modifying our vehicles. It’s individual. If you need a custom header or exhaust for your project, we can build it, and we can build it better than anyone else.”
Thanks to an investment in more manufacturing equipment, Kooks is even better suited to create exhaust systems for both production and custom applications. Its catalog is already filled with axle-backs, cat-backs, headers and complete systems for a wide variety of applications.
The company can also create any custom exhaust you might need, including street performance, classic car, and classic trucks. There are already plenty of racers in the IHRA, NASA, NASCAR, NHRA, NMCA, NMRA, and SCCA ranks having success with these custom parts. The company even offers built-it-yourself kits, which include flanges, bends, collectors, and other necessary components, for those wanting to design their own systems.
