Even cyclists need high-performance support. If you are fan of this form of racing, you are no doubt familiar with Team Sky, which has chalked up 51 wins and covered over 40,000 kilometers. The team has long enjoyed support from Ford in the form of vehicles and that arrangement was just extended until the end of 2019. To celebrate, Ford Performance created a one-off Focus RS support vehicle, which will debut at this year’s Tour de France.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Ford – a company with the same principles of tackling challenges that we at Team Sky have,” Sir David Brailsford, team principal at Team Sky, said. “Ford vehicles play a vital role for Team Sky and their knowledge and support makes them an integral part of our team.”

The hot hatch scout vehicle happens to be one of the 2017 models featuring the new Option Pack. This Focus features a livery matching the team’s special edition Tour de France jerseys along with a bike rack and unique Recaro seats.
