On the first and arguably busiest day of SEMA, Roush Performance invited enthusiasts to witness the unveiling of its newest limited edition vehicle: the 2020 Jack Roush Edition Mustang. This is the most powerful Roush Mustang to ever be produced, and was built as a tribute to the founder of the company.

The stunning Mustang is one of 60 that will be produced for order in the United States, in addition to ten for sale internationally. All 70 cars will be built in Rapid Red, and will feature Jack Roush Edition graphics and badging, as well as an extensive Roush “R9” body kit. The kit consists of a grille, lower opening with illuminated “ROUSH”, chin splitter with wheel shrouds, hood heat extractors, fender heat extractors, high-flow corner pockets, rear valance aero foils, and a rear blackout panel. An active aerodynamic carbon-fiber rear wing and exterior lighting package (puddle lights, rear fender LEDs, and illuminated LTR) rounds out the exterior modification list.

But this isn’t just an appearance package. The Roush is powered by a 5.0L Coyote topped with a 2.65L TVS Phase 3 supercharger — good for an astounding 775 horsepower. To sweeten the deal, the company has added Roush-calibrated MagneRide suspension, a Roush Active Exhaust system with an H-pipe, and a Roush powertrain cooling package.

The car stays glued to the pavement by Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires wrapped around diamond-machined Agate Gray forged wheels. They come to a stop thanks to track-ready front and rear six-piston Brembo brakes.

Inside, the Roush team designed a custom Jack Roush Edition interior.

Under-hood, Roush will equip each special Mustang with an engine bay styling package and hood strut lift assist. The purchase of one of these rare steeds will include a premium car cover.

If this package isn’t quite enough for you, there is an optional Competition Package sold separately. It includes custom matte black Roush/Weld Racing lightweight forged wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact DR racing slick tires (capable of 1.14 lateral g’s), and a “Jack Pack” wheel and tire display and tool box.
