If you attended Holley’s LS Fest 2011, then you know it was an extreme event that had something for everyone. If you’re into showing off your car – they got you covered. Drag racing? Check. Autocross? Absolutely. Drifting? Smoke ’em if ya got ’em. And there are vendor booths, girls, an engine swap challenge, a cruise, you name it, if it has something to do with cars and LS engines then you can pretty much assume that you’re going to have a good time.
The schedule of events is enough to keep you busy all three days, so plan on having enough to do whether you’re participating or watching. This year, the dates are set for September 7, 8 & 9, it’s held at the Beech Bend Raceway Park, Holley’s hometown track located in Bowling Green, KY. This is their third year, and they already saw a 51% increase in 2011, so there’s no telling how many participants and visitors they’ll have this year.
For those who like to cruise, there will be a Countryside Cruise through the back roads of Kentucky so the whole family can participate. This way everyone can just enjoy a cruise and have some fun before they get down to business on either of the many tracks that people will be competing on. This show is for anyone who has an LS powered vehicle, no matter what it is.
And since they noticed a large amount of LS powered cars in the parking lots, there will be “All LS Parking” so you can all share in each others rides, even if you’re not participating in the shows or competitions. Mark the dates, it’s coming up fast and it will disappear before you know it.
