Kooks also has a wide variety of both dirt and asphalt circle track headers for small block Chevy applications!
The F-150 Raptor is the undisputed leader of Ford’s truck line up. With 411 horsepower being pumped through its 6.2-liter, it breaks the quarter mile clocks in 15.8 seconds, which isn’t bad for a 6,000 pound truck. If you are looking for more horsepower for getting around, or just want to hear that ‘big block’ purr, then you should take a look at
Kook’s Custom Headers. Offered in 1-3/4 or 1-7/8ths inch primaries and for the 5.4 and 6.2-liter engines, Kooks boasts up to a 40 horsepower gain to the rear wheels when used with their Y-Pipe.
Kooks headers are all made from 18 gauge 304 stainless steel and feature a 3-inch collector and take around 4-6 hours to install. Kooks Y-Pipe comes in 3-inches for the 6.2-liter and 2.5-inches for the 5.4-liter. Again, made from stainless steel, the Y-Pipes feature OEM style connectors that allows this upgrade to be installed in around 1 hour in the factory location. They come with high flow catalytic converters and can even come with Kook’s new Green Cats. These Y-pipes must be used in conjunction with Kook’s long tube headers
