There are some rather eccentric figures in the world of automotive racing. Among them is Ken Block, one of the co-founders of the DC Shoe company. Block also happens to be one of the foremost rally drivers in the world…or at the very least, one the most popular. Thanks to his Gymkhana YouTube videos, Block is an Internet sensation.
And if there is anything the Internet loves, it is parodying celebrities. So Block joined forces with comedian Nick Swardson to poke fun at himself. Hilarity ensues.
Looking his best like show-boating RallyCross racer, Swardson hunkers down for an interview where he goes from crazy to insane to full-blown mental. Some of his more outlandish claims include naming each individual wheel after monkeys he met in the jungle, that he has a cologne called “Kenchanment,” and that he owns a vegetable company named “Blockli” (like broccoli.)
How about something for the ladies? Swardson (as Block) notes his line of hats and thongs coming out under the name “Block It Like It’s Hot,” and he plans to rename the X-Games to the Malcom X-Games. Got six minutes to laugh at some ridiculousness? Check out this video right now.
